Conway is the heart of the Mount Washington Valley. It's one town made up of seven villages: Conway, North Conway, Center Conway, East Conway, Intervale, Kearsarge and Redstone. About 9,800 people live here year-round, and millions more visit every year.
That mix is what makes Conway work. You get the shopping, restaurants and hospital of a bigger place, plus mountains in every direction and the Saco River running right through town. The Kancamagus Highway starts here, Cathedral Ledge looks down on the valley, and Cranmore sits right above North Conway village.
Whether you want a condo near the slopes, a family home in Conway Village, or a house with land and a mountain view, there's a fit for almost every buyer. We've been helping people find their place here for a long time, and our North Conway office is right on Route 16.
Conway's seven villages each have their own feel, so the right home often starts with the right village.
Village homes. In Conway Village and Center Conway you'll find classic New England capes, farmhouses and older colonials on tree-lined streets, close to schools and the library.
Condos and townhomes. Concentrated around North Conway and Cranmore, these are popular with second-home owners and anyone who wants lock-and-leave living near the slopes and shops.
Mountain-view homes. Kearsarge, Intervale and Redstone sit just above the valley floor, with neighborhoods that look out on Cathedral Ledge, Moat Mountain and Mount Washington.
Land and newer construction. East Conway and the edges of Center Conway offer bigger lots, room for a garage or a garden, and a quieter pace.
Living in Conway means the mountains are part of your routine, not just your weekend. People hike before work, ski after school, and know which trailhead to skip on a holiday Saturday.
It's also a real community. Kids grow up playing Kennett sports, neighbors run into each other at the grocery store, and the whole valley turns out for local events. When the tourists head home, Conway is still a full-time town with full-time people.
